Alison Coyle, Occupational Therapist and Registered Hand Therapist introduces the Manex Radial Splint and demonstrates how to fit the finger platform. Alison also demonstrates:

  • how to apply tension to the finger platform to assist with MCP joint extension
  • how the splint allows the client to make a fist and how the splint brings the fingers back into extension
  • how to use the splint at night by removing the finger platform

  • The Manex Radial Hand Splint  is made of NeoTex material. Specifically developed for patients with radial paresis but can also be used for other diagnoses. Including, carpal tunnel syndrome, post traumatic after radius fracture, ulnar drift of fingers or subluxation of MCP joints.
